AIGLOJELL

This is a base intended for the preparation of beauty care creams. A white, odourless, pure, stable and homogeneous product, it spreads easily and liquefies under slight pressure into a fine, penetrating oil.

Created originally at the request of some pharmaceutical laboratories, these are essentially viscous oil gels ( the first very soft and AA( 40 B) soft) produced using an original process. When first created, these products were intended for use as the base for the preparation of laxative jams. Since then, some cosmetic manufacturers have used them to improve various creams and ointments. Colour: white.

This is a crystal transparent gel with a Codex liquid paraffin base, very original and specific to AIGLON S.A. JELL’S has no melting point.It can be used in numerous cosmetics such as :

anti-wrinkle gels,
body care gels,
sun gels,
make-up removal preparations,
shaving products, creams, etc...

All components comply with Codex. 

JELL'S PDI

These gels have the same uses as Jell's but they do not contain mineral bases.

Specifications


POLYBASE
The products POLYBASE are hydrophobic gels with an original texture; They are transparent, odourless, neutral, suitable with mineral oil, pharmaceutical and cosmetic preparations. They are manufactured according special production processes from high quality raw materials.

Although their molecular structure has the aspect of petroleum jelly they are completly different:

The POLYBASE have a "Newtonien" behaviour. The POLYBASE resistance of viscosity is directly proportional to the mechanical effort developped during the centrifugation.

Contrary to petroleum jellies, the consistency of the POLYBASE product is not influenced by a temperature between 0 °C and 65 °C.

As the POLYBASE products loose their consistency at temperatures over 65 °C / 85 °C, they must be heated to higher temperatures if the hydrophilic form has to be reached by adding emulsifiers.

 

The POLYBASE products are recommended for:

The production of oil/water or water/oil emulsion,
massage creams,
body lotions,
cleansing milk,
sun milk,
lipsticks, etc...

and as exipient for pharmaceutical bases.

Transparent thickeners, gelifiers

TRANSGEL are greasy gels with original texture. TRANSGEL are odourless, non toxic and non irritant, hydrophobic.
They are especially adapted to be used in cosmetics and pharmaceutics formulations.

These gels are suitable in numerous types of applications. Another high interest of the TRANSGEL range is that they are good thickeners or gelifiers for mineral and almost any vegetable oils, a wide range of lipophilic substances, polybutenes and esters. The finish product remains transparent.

All the TRANSGEL gels provide particular advantages when incorporated in any waterproof preparation.

 

Liquid Gels

TRANSGEL 105 and 110, the lightest, are flowing at room temperature.Very unctuous and not too greasy, they can be used in a wide range of cosmetic products, makeup, beauty creams, sun preparations...

Elastomeric Gels

TRANSGEL 505 and 510, the heaviest, are flexible and can be moulded.They can be used in a wide range of cosmetic products, makeup, beauty creams, sun preparations, deodorants, sticks, lipsticks… They are under liquid form above 70 and 90 °C and recover their initial gel texture by cooling; they can undergo this thermal cycle so often as necessary.

PEKSOGEL N° 2

Gelify agent of mineral oils and some vegetal oils.

It can also be used as a base of many cosmetics.

Usually PEKSOGEL is used as gelifier at percentage from 5 to 50 %. 

PEKSOGEL N° 2 is transparent. Touching is delicate, onctuous, slight greasy and easily assimilated by the skin.

PEKSOGEL N° 2 is thermo-reversible but very stable. Gelification of an oil is almost instantaneous. The risks of sweating after gelification are very limitated.

PEKSOGEL N° 2 is odourless, hydrophobic, neutral, and compatible with mineral oils and cosmetics.


APPLICATIONS

PEKSOGEL N° 2 is recommended as gelifying agents or as raw material in many cosmetic preparations. Massage balms - sunscreen creams - lipsticks - make up removers, etc.
